M2E Power Raises $8M
Boise, Idaho-based M2E Power said this morning that it has raised $8M in a Series A funding. The firm said the funding came from OVP Venture partners, @Ventures, Highway 12 Ventures, and existing investors. M2E Power is developing technology, spun out of Idaho National Labs, which is used to recharge and power cell phones, digital cameras, PDAs, and other mobile devices. The technology uses kinetic energy and the Faraday Principle for its devices.
