Atempo, COPAN Partner
Longmont, Colorado-based Copan a provider of disk based backup systems, has inked a new agreement with Atempo, a provider of information lifecycle management software. The two companies said today that the two have partnered to certify Atempo's software with Copan's Massive Array of Idle Disks (MAID) hardware systems. Copan is developing disk-based storage subsystems that are optimized for power consumption and density, focused on replacing tape subsystems with cheaper and faster disk drives. The certification covers the use of Atempo's data protection and archiving software with Copan's systems.
