COPAN Systems Names Ward as President and CEO
Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN Systems has named a new President and CEO. The storage firm said that it has appointed Mark B. Ward as President and CEO. Ward was Vice President and General Manager of North American Sales at StorageTek. Ward also served as managing partner at Ward Capital, managing partner at Enterprise Storage Ventures, and founder and CEO of GiantLoop Network. COPAN is developing disk storage subsystems targeted at long term data storage. The firm is backed by Austin Ventures, Globespan Capital Partners, Pequot Ventures, and Pinnacle Ventures.
