Nearmap says that it is launching new 3-D and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which it says will give better access to the company's aerial imagery, as part of new offering, the company said this week. According to Nearmap, it has created a new, AI technology which it says will create new datasets from its high-resolution aerial imagery. Nearmap said that its AI technology uses millions of aerial images to quantify and measure change in such things as solar panels, pools, roofs or construction sites.
