Nearmap Wins Utah Landscaping Firm For Aerial Imaging Deal
South Jordan, Utah-based aerial imagery provider Nearmap says it has been selected by a Utah landscaping firm, Elite Grounds, to help the company with estimating potential projects. According to Nearmap, Elite is using its cloud-based mapping platform, MapBrowser, for its bid process. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Nearmap said its aerial imagery--which is much higher resolution than satellite images--is saving Elite Grounds around six to 12 hours minimum per job for its quotes.
