Amazon Plans Big Hiring Push For Techies In Denver
Amazon is planning a big hiring push at its Denver Tech Hub, with plans to hire 400 new jobs in the location in the areas of software and hardware engineering, cloud computing, and advertising, the company said on Tuesday morning. According to Amazon, it is opening up a new office in downtown Denver, which will help it more than double its tech workforce in the Denver area. The new office comes on top of Amazon's existing tech center in Boulder. Amazon says the new, 98,000 square foot office will be at 1515 Wynkoop in the Lower Downtown neighborhood. Amazon already has more than 350 employees in Denver. According to the e-commerce giant, it has created more than 3,500 full time jobs in total in Colorado, when you count its customer fulfillment and retail facilities.
