StarTek Ramps Hiring In Cincinnati
Denver-based StarTek, the provider of business process outsourcing services, reported that it is in a hiring push, with plans to hire over 130 home agents and managers in the Cincinnati area. The firm said the company is looking to bolster its inbound customer service support agents as part of its StarTek@Home program. StarTek's customer support agents work from their own home, via telephone and high speed internet. The firm provides many of its services to the telecommunications industry. StarTek did not say why it is specifically targeting Cincinnati in its hiring push; the firm also has major operations in the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Honduras.
