Sorenson Ventures Raises $110M Investment Fund
Salt Lake City-based Sorenson Ventures, the venture capital arm of Sorenson Capital, said on Wednesday that it has closed its first fund, to the tune of $110M. According to the firm, the fund and its related investment entities closed above its original target fund size of $100M. Sorenson Ventures, which is led by Ken Elefant and Rob Rueckert, said the investors in its fund included foundations, endowments and an insurance company, as well as corporate, family office and individual investors. Sorenson Ventures first started fundraising for the fund in June of 2017, when it first created Sorenson Ventures. The firm said Sorenson Ventures will focus on early-stage enterprise software and security investments.
