Uber Rolls Out Public Transit Features In Denver
Uber and Denver's Regional Transportation District (RTD) have rolled out an integrated public transit experience in Denver today, which allows users running Uber's app to choose public transportation as an option through its app. According to the two, the partnership helps tie "new mobility services" with traditional, public transportation. The new integration helps bridge between Uber as well as the RTD's routes, although the partnership does not initially include ability to purchase tickets for the RTD.
