Qualtrics Tops In M&A Deals In Q4
Provo, Utah-based Qualtrics topped the list of the biggest, VC-backed mergers and acquisitions in Q4 in 2018, according to Dow Jones VentureSource. Qualtrics was acquired in November by SAP in a deal worth $8 billion. The acquisition of Qualtrics came in what Dow Jones said was the second best quarter on record for M&A deals, with a total of $39.84 billion paid for VC-backed companies in the quarter. The Qualtrics deal accounted for around 20% of Q4's total.
