CoreSite Strengthens Connections To Amazon Web Services
Denver-based data center operator CoreSite Realty Corporation has strengthened its direct link to Amazon Web Services, saying today that it has added a new Amazon Web Services Direct connection at its Silicon Valley data center. The link gives the company a direct, private connection to AWS for CoreSite's customers. According to CoreSite, the additional connection provides "logical redundancy" capabilities of AWS Direct COnnect, which can help improve resiliency of connections to the popular Amazon cloud service. CoreSite says it already operates seven data centers in Silicon Valley. CoreSite also has has similar dedicated links to Microsoft Azure, Microsoft's competing cloud service to AWS.
