Venafi Adds Former Obama CIO As Advisor
Salt Lake City-based Venafi, the developer of cybersecurity tools used to secure the identity of machines on networks, said last week that it has added Tony Scott as an advisor to the firm. Scott is the former CIO for the Obama administration, and currently serves as Managing Partner at advisory and merchant banking firm Ridge-Lane LP. Scott also serves as senior advisor for cyber security and privacy at Squire Patton Boggs. Scott served as chief information officer (CIO) for the U.S. Government during the Obama administration.
