Signal Peak Leads Investment In Kids Monitoring Startup Bark
Salt Lake City-based venture investor Signal Peak Ventures is the lead investor in Bark, an Atlanta startup which develops software that monitors the activity of kids on social media, through texting, YouTube, email, and more. Bark said today that it has raised $9M in the Series A round, which was led by Signal Peak, and also included Two Sigma Ventures, Symmetrical Ventures, Fuel Capital, Hallett Capital and Atlanta Seed Company. The company says its software uses artificial intelligence to track activity across 24 different social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap and GroupMe.
