Wilson Electronics Targets Truckers With Cell Phone Signal Booster
St. George, Utah-based electronics maker Wilson Electronics, which develops RF-boosting hardware used to boost 4G wireless signals, has rolled out a new product for the trucking industry, the new weBoost Drive Sleek OTR. According to Wilson, the new product is specifically designed to help truckers improve their cell phone signals, supporting both enhance 4G LTE and 3G cellular signals. Truckers regularly traverse areas with very poor cell reception. Accoding to weBoost, the new product includes an adapter which allows its product to use standard citizen band (CB) antenna mounts, which are standard on most semis. The new product costs $279.99.
