Foundry Backs Taunt For Esports Fan Engagement
Boulder-based venture investment firm Foundry Group has made another investment in Seattle, this time in Taunt, a developer of e-sports fan engagement software. Taunt said it raised $1.75M in its seed funding, which was led by Foundry Group and also included Vulcan Capital, the investment arm of Microsoft founder Paul Allen. Foundry's Brad Feld joins Taunt's board as part of the funding round. Taunt is a spinout of Pioneer Square Labs, a startup incubator based in Seattle.
