DigitalGlobe Shareholders Give Nod On Merger
Westminster, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe inched closer to its $3.6 billion merger with MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA), after its shareholders voted to approve the deal, which had originally announced in February. The satellite imagery provider said approximately 93 percent of its shares at its recently shareholder meeting voted in favor of the merger. DigitalGlobe said the deal is still subject to approval from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), among other approvals.
