Prescient Picks Up $40M More
Arvada, Colorado-based Prescient, which develops construction technology which provides a dramatically more efficient way to design, manufacture, build and operate multi-unit buildings using steel, has raised $40M in a Series D funding, the company announced this morning. The company said the funding provides it with a pre-money valuation f $475M, and brings it to a total of $80M raised in funding. Source of the funding was not announced. Prescient is led by CEO Satyen Patel. The company's technology is used for quickly and efficiently building apartments, student housing, senior living, hotels and armed forces housing, and it has a significant number of buildings which have been built in the Denver area.
