Qualtrics Gets $180M In New Funding Round At $2.5 Billion Valuation
Provo, Utah-based Qualtrics announced this morning that it has raised another round of funding, adding $180M more to the company's funding total, in a round led by Insight Venture Partners and Accel, and also including Sequoia Capital. Qualtrics said that, as part of the funding, Murray Demo, CFO of Atlassian and former Adobe CFO, has joined its board. Qualtrics said the new round was at a valuation of $2.5 billion, saying that valuation is 2.5 times over its previous valuation in late 2014. The new funding comes on rumors of the company nearing an IPO. Ryan Smith is co-founder and CEO of Qualtrics. The company has now raised $400M in total for its customer experience management software.
