Rise Broadband Opens App To Veterans For Wilderness Trek
Denver-based fixed wireless broadband provider Rise Broadband said that it has opened up nominations of military veterans, who would like to be involved its the No Barriers Warriors Colorado Rocky Mountain Veterans Expedition. That effort, which happens in September, puts wounded veterans through a 40-mile wilderness trek, at no cost to those veterans, to help them overcome obstacles and reconnect with their communities. Rise Broadband is sponsoring the trek for those veterans, and also said that its employees will participate in a service project with those veterans at the end of the trek.
