Sphero: Last Day For BB-8, Robot Toy Orders
Are you one of those very, very, very last minute Christmas shoppers looking for a great tech gift? Boulder-based Sphero says that it's not too late, yet, to order its robot toys for overnight delivery before Christmas. According to Sphero, it will be accepting orders for delivery before the 24th, up to 11:59 PM MST today, 12/22. (Update: Sphero sent an email to its supporters, saying the last time for delivery before the 24th is actually 2:00PM MST, not the later time). Sphero's BB-8, the Force Band, Ollie, and SPRK+ are all available on the company's website this year, quite a difference from the mad rush for BB-8 back in December of 2015, when the Star Wars-themed, robotic ball was nearly impossible to find.
