JDA Software Skips Acquisition, Finds $570M In Funding
Scottsdale-based JDA Software announced this morning that it has raised $570M in a private equity investment, which came from Blackstone and New Mountain Capital, apparently skipping a rumored buyout by Honeywell. According to JDA Software, the recapitalization of the company will help it focus on product development, product innovation, and growth plans. JDA Software had reportedly been near a a $3 billion acquisition by Honeywell, according to reports last week from the WSJ.
