Accellos Gets $28.5M In Second Round, Acquires Firm
Colorado-based Accellos, a provider of logistics management software, said Tuesday that it has raised $28.5M in a Series B funding and acquired a software firm. Accelos said the funding came from funds affiliated with Monitor Clipper Partners, LLC, as well as its existing investors. Accellos said the funding will go to finance future acquisitions, including the acquisition of Prophesy Transportation Software. Prophesy Transportation Software develops software used by the trucking industry. Financial terms of the Prophesy acquisition were not disclosed. Accellos develops software used for logistics, warehouse, 3PL, transportation and other management.
