Dizzion Debuts New Virtual Desktop Deployment Device
Denver-based Dizzion, the developer of virtual desktop software, said this week that it has released a new product, a new device called the zLink, which helps companies deliver cloud desktops. According to the company, the new device replaces traditional laptops and PCs, and is "plug-and-play", connecting directly to its cloud desktop service. The new device--not much bigger than a flash drive--plugs into a user's USB keyboard and a HDMI monitor--and appears to an end user to be a full PC. The company is offering both an ultra compact Android version of the device, and a larger Windows device called the zLink Plus. Dizzion is venture backed by Grotech Ventures, Access Ventures, and Point B Capital, and was founded by veterans from ViaWest.
