Two, Boulder-area investors--Techstars Ventures, the investment arm of Techstars, and Foundry Group--have backed the producer of a science and technology event producer, Two Bit Circus. Two Bit Circus said this morning that it has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding, which was led by Techstars Ventures and Foundry Group. Intel Capital also participated in the funding. Two Bit Circus, which is led by Brent Bushnell--the son of Atari and Chuck E Cheese founder Nolan Bushnell--has been running a series of educational events called the STEAM Carnival, which use high tech games and a carnival theme to teach kids science and technology principles.
