Xactware, which develops insurance estimating software, and is owned by Verisk Analytics, told its users Monday afternoon that its CEO, Jim Loveland, has stepped down from the company. According to an email to customers, Loveland, who was CEO for the past 10 years, has stepped down to spend more time with his family and to pursue other opportunities. The company said it has promoted Mike Fulton, previously Senior Vice President of Claims Solutions, as President. Loveland had become CEO of Xactware back in 1995, after his father, James Loveland--who founded the company--passed away. Xactware is now a major employer at the center of Utah's technology cluster.
