Pana Finds $1.35M For AI Driven Travel Bookings, Recommendations

Will your next vacation be booked by a robot? Denver-based Pana, a company developing artificial intelligence software to help with travel bookings, said today that it has raised $1.35M in a funding round, to combine artificial intelligence with human travel experts, to offer up personalized travel booking, recommendations, emergency assistance, and and more. The startup said the seed round came from Techstars, 500Startups, FG Angels, Flight.vc, and Galvanize Ventures, among others.

Pana said it will use the funding to rapidly increase product distribution and further develop its proprietary AI technology. The startup is led by Devon Tivona, and currently in limited beta; thec ompany says its AI software helps its team deliver tailored recommendations for flights, hotels, cars, and food, based on a users' preferences and past behavior. The company was formerly known as Native.
