Groople Partners With La Quinta
Denver-based Groople, a provider of online group travel planning services, said Thursday that it has partnered with La Quinta Inns and Suites, to provide group bookings at the hotels. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Groople's online services allow groups to book hotel rooms and other travel arrangements; the site's features include RFPs, ability to handle different group rate discounts, and connections into hotel central reservation systems. Groople is venture backed by ArrowPath Venture Partners, FA Technology Ventures, Vista Ventures, Fatty Tuna and Flywheel Ventures.
