BOOMTOWN, Comcast Team On New Internet-of-Things Lab In Boulder
Boulder-based BOOMTOWN Accelerator and Comcast Labs said this morning that the two are building a new, Internet-of-Things (IoT) lab in downtown Boulder, focused on helping bring products in the area to market. The two said the new facility will serve companies developing products at the intersection of media and the Internet-of-Things. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The two said the lab will give entrepreneurs, startups, and other companies access to the latest hardware and software in the market--things such as networked appliances, thermostats, wearables, and much more.
