Welltok Raises $37M
Denver-based Welltok, the startup led by Jeff Margolis which develops an online platform to help manage health and wellness programs, said Thursday that it has officially completed its most recent funding round at $37M. The company said the latest funding added new investors Hearst Health Ventures and Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), in addition to Bessemer Venture Partners, Emergence Capital Partners, InterWest Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Qualcomm Ventures. Welltok said the new funds will go to launch new products and services, and expand into new markets. Welltok had previously announced an earlier close on the funding in October. The company said the new funding brings its total raised in 2014 to $59M.
