EventBoard Gets $1.5M For Managing Conference Rooms
Salt Lake City-based EventBoard, a developer of cloud-based, mobiles software for managing the booking of conference and meeting rooms in workplaces, has raised $1.5M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Google Ventures, Zetta Venture Partners, Marc Benioff, Dave Elkington and Josh James, along with others. EventBoard develops cloud-based, mobile-enabled software used by companies to manage reservatons for their meeting and conference rooms, and also helps companies analyze the usage of those rooms, frequency of conference room usage, and much more. The company said it already has more than 500 paying customers, including Airbnb, Box, Pinterest, Yelp, NYU, Yale, Hawaiian Airlines and Disney. The company's software runs on the iPad and iPad mini.
