EventBoard Raises $13.5M For Meeting Room Tools
Salt Lake City-based EventBoard, the developer of cloud-based tools for managing meeting rooms, has raised $13.5M in a Series B funding round, the company announced this morning. The startup, led by Shaun Ritchie, makes a cloud software product which is incredibly popular in Silicon Valley for managing reservations of conference rooms at technology companies. The new funding was led by NGP (Nokia Growth Partners), and also included GE Ventures, along with other investors such as Greycroft Partners, Origin Ventures, and Zetta Venture Partners. Eventboard's software runs on tablets at offices, and the company also has built analytics and other tools to help companies better understand their employees' work patterns. The company has now raised $21.5M in total.
