Millenniata In Branding, Development Deal With Verbatim
American Fork-based Milleniata, which develops archive grade, optical disk technology, has inked a deal with Verbatim, to co-brand and jointly develop products. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. According to the companies, Verbatim and parent company Mitsubishi Kagaku Media (MKM) will provide worldwide marketing and sales of M-Disc branded DVDs and Blu-ray disks; Verbatim will also work with Milleniata on joint development efforts. Milleniata is led by Paul Brockbank; the company has developed technology it says allows Blu-ray and DVD disks to last as long as 1,000 years.
