Millenniata Expands In Europe
American Fork, Utah-based Millenniata, which develops optical disk technology which uses rock-like materials to truly provide permanent data storage for data, said it is expanding in Europe with a new head of its European sales and marketing. The company said it has appointed Kev Jefcoate to lead its sales and marketing across the EMEA region. Jefcoate has served at such companies as Verbatim and HP. Milleniata offers up archive-grade DVDs and Blu-ray disks, which the company says is virtually impervious to environmental exposure. The company was spun out of technology developed at BYU. The company said its tests say its disks can last up to 1,000 years.
