ON Semiconductor Completes $400M Aptina Imaging Buy
Phoenix-based ON Semiconductor said today that it has completed its acquisition of Aptina Imaging. The deal was worth approximately $400M in cash. ON Semiconductor said the funds for the buy came from cash on its balance sheet, plus its existing line of credit. Aptina Imaging will be led by Taner Ozcelik. ON said it expects Aptina Imaging to contribute revenues in the range of $60M to $70M in the third quarter of 2014. The acquisition was originally announced on June 10th.
