Beanstalk Gets $2M For Tax Software
Salt Lake City-based Beanstalk, a developer of a cloud-based, software-as-a-service platform for helping small and medium sized businesses and their tax advisors to work on their tax filings, has raised $2M in a funding round. According to the company, the funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included EPIC Ventures, Deep Fork Capital, and angel investor Jim Engebretsen. Beanstalk is led by Kurt Avarell, an doffers up online document storage, note and discussion tracking, and more all centered around helping small business owners and their accountants.
