Gogo Gets Japanese Certification
In-flight Wi-Fi services provider Gogo, which has substantial operations in Broomfield, Colorado, reported a major certification win in Japan today, saying that it has received authority to install its Ku-satellite connectivity services on Japan Airlines' 737-800 aircraft. Gogo said that it is installing its Gogo Vision wireless in-flight entertainment service on JAL's domestic fleet. Gogo said the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) came from the FAA as well as the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB).
