Sphero Extends To Microsoft Windows and Windows Phone
Are you a Windows Phone user, feeling left out because all the iPhone and Android folks are having all that fun with their Sphero robotic ball? Well, you don't have to feel so bad anymore. Orbotix, the company behind the Sphero, just announced today that it is now supporting both Windows and Windows Phone with a new release of its software. Plus, Sphero said it will begin rolling out its robots at Microsoft's U.S. retail stores, starting this summer. The update means that Windows 8.0/8.1 tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktops can all control the Sphero robot via an app.
