JumpCloud Debuts New Server Automation Product
Boulder-based server management software developer JumpCloud has announced a new product aimed at the "server orchestration" part of the market today, saying that it will allows IT and DevOps developers to manage server management tasks and workflows. The company said its new tools allows for the automation of server management tasks and workflows--something which previously required IT administrators to manually execute tasks or write scripts to run across their servers. The company said it is looking to address on-going maintenance of servers, applications, and data with the tool, and area which is not covered by e current crop of server provisioning tools like Puppet, Chef, and Docker.
