JumpCloud Releases Software For DevOps Automation
Boulder-based JumpCloud, the DevOps IT automation and server management software developer backed by Foundry Group and Bullet Time Ventures, said this morning that it has launched its product into general commercial availability. The startup--led by Rajat Bhargava--recently announced a $3.0M funding to bring its products to market. JumpCloud's software is used for the "DevOps" model of software development, which uses rapid, small deployment of software changes into production to prevent issues with "feature creep"--the inability to ship software due to too many new features being introduced in a release at one time. DevOps has been very popular with Web-based and other software companies recently, because of its ability to enable rapid iteration of products.
