Domain Surgical Finds $35M For Surgical Tools
Salt Lake City-based Domain Surgical, a developer of surgery equipment which is used for cutting and coagulating tissue during surgery, has raised $35M in an equity and debt financing, the company said this week. The funding was led by Orbimed, an un-named strategic investors, as well as BioStar Ventures and the company's existing investors. Domain Surgical is led by David McNally. The company said the new funds goes towards expanding its sales force and international distribution, as well as the launch of additional surgical tools.
