ClearDATA Networks Raises $14M For Healthcare Cloud
Phoenix-based ClearDATA Networks disclosed today that it has raised $14M in a Series B funding, for the company's health focused, cloud services. The funding came from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Excel Venture Management and Norwest Venture Partners. ClearDATA offers up a cloud-based computing services, backup and disaster recovery, and other similar services to healthcare organizations. The company is led by Darin Brannan, who previously co-founded Web.com (formerly Website Pros) and founded web hosting provider Verio.
