ClearDATA Targets Healthcare Providers With Cloud Storage Service
Phoenix-based ClearData is expanding its range of offerings for the healthcare market, saying today that it has launched a new, cloud-storage product specifically aimed at hospitals and healthcare systems. ClearData said its new long term archiving service is aimed at replacing expensive, on-site redundant archiving products, and offers up Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant data storage. Pricing on the new product was not announced. The company said the new service focuses on healthcare data which does not need to be accessed immediately or regularly.
