DISH, Southwest Offer Up Loaner iPad 2 On Flights
Englewood, Colorado-based DISH, the satellite television operator, said today that it has tied with Southwest Airlines to provide travelers on certain flights with a free loaner iPad, in order to watch on-demand and live TV. DISH said it will offer the loaner iPad service at Chicago-Midway International Airport (MDW), Denver International Airport (DEN) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). DISH said the move is part of its new live TV and on-demand service that it launched with Southwest in July on Wi-Fi enabled airplanes.
