Foundry Backs MapBox WIth $10M
Boulder-based venture capital investor Foundry Group has backed a developer of mapping software based in San Francisco. Mapbox, a developer of mobile and web mapping tools, said it raised $10M in its Series A funding, which will go towards expanding out its team in San Francisco and Washington, D.C. MapBox's tools are being used by such companies as Uber, foursquare, hipmunk, Evernote, and others for their mapping features.
