Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar Technologies, the developer of flexible, thin-film photovoltaic based products for the consumer and other markets, has expanded its international distribution. Ascent said it has partnered with West Coast Limited, an electronics distributor in the United Kingdon and Ireland. Ascent said West Coast Limited is the largest distributor of products from Hewlett Packard, Samsung and Toshiba. Ascent said that West Coast will distribute its EnerPlex brand in the UK and Ireland. Ascent Solar has recently been making a consumer push, with its EnerPlex line of solar and battery phone cases and chargers.
