Spectra Logic Gets Green Flag At NASCAR
Boulder-based tape library provider SpectraLogic has gotten a green flat at NASCAR Productions, reporting today that NASCAR is using its Spectra T-Finity tape libraries. Spectra Logic said NASCAR has archived 8.0 petabytes (180,000 hours) of its high resolution, video footage, as part of a new installation. Spectra Logic said that NASCAR has replaced an older, Spectra T950 tape library with its new device; NASCAR has been using its older library since 2008. SpectraLogic did not say how much the upgraded system cost NASCAR.
