TechStars Gets Exit At Microsoft Accelerator

Rack up another successful acquisition out of a TechStars accelerator program: MetricsHub, a TechStars company run out of the Microsoft Accelerator in Bellevue, Washington, has been acquired by Microsoft, the firms said Monday evening. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. TechStars operates the startup accelerator for Microsoft, one of a number of programs mamanged by TechStars for a number of large corporate clients.

MetricsHub develops software used for automating cloud performance management, particularly Microsoft's Windows Azure cloud service. Microsoft said it will make MetricsHub's software available for free to users of Windows Azure.
