MapQuest Launches Visual Discovery Service
Denver-based MapQuest is continuing to ramp up its suite of services, saying today that it has launched a new service called MapQuest Discover, which helps users find inspiration and information about travel destinations. The site uses a highly visual, user interface to link users with all kinds of information, centered around places people might want to explore, in a photo-centric way. The site lets users create collections around their favorite places, read professional travel guides, share and "like" those collections or places, and much more.
