Techstars: 175 Companies, 17 Acquisitions, $260.8M
Boulder-based Techstars, the startup acceleration program, is holding its annual FounderCon startup conference this week, and released a few figures about the program Monday. Techstars said that so for, 175 companies out of its programs have been funded, to a total of $260.8M in funding. Of those, 17 companies have been acquired so far. The accelerator also reported that it received an astounding 4,520 applications to the program in 2012, with a mere 1.4 percent of companies being accepted.
