Sphero Rolls Out At Target
Boulder-based Orbotix, the firm behind the Sphero robotic ball, has gotten a big boost to its distribution, saying this week that it has begun rolling at at Target locations nationwide. Orbotix said that its device can now be purchased in over 1,200 Target locations. The expansion to Target follows deals to distribute the robotic ball at the Apple Store and Brookstone, and marks the first mass market retailer to pick up the device for its retail stores. The Sphero is a robotic ball which is controlled by either an Android or iPhone smartphone.
